Diaverum, a leading global provider for renal care services, is acquiring a new dialysis clinic in the district of Prignitz-Perleberg in Brandenburg bringing its portfolio to 9 medical treatment centers in Germany.
On 1 October, Diaverum Germany is taking over the Prignitz-Perleberg dialysis centre. Until now, the clinic has been run by the owners Prof. Willi Grunewald and Dr. Ilona Lange, who, together with their team of more than 20 employees, look after around 100 dialysis patients on site. For 23 years now, the Perleberg site has been supplying the population of the district with a wide range of renal care services, and this should remain the case in the future.
"Our goal is to ensure long-term health care in the region," emphasises former owner Prof. Grunewald, adding that Diaverum is the perfect partner for this.
For patients, the full range of services will be available and all employees will also be transferred as part of the change in operation.
"Diaverum is recognised worldwide for its high standards of care and very good medical outcomes. We look forward to continuing this success story under the competent leadership of Professor Grunewald and Doctor Lange in Perleberg," explains Pascal Neujean, Managing Director of Diaverum Germany.
